Ovadia & Sons F/W 2011
Brothers Ariel & Shimon Ovadia have in a relatively short time created one of the best menswear lines for hand tailored goods available, and likewise a cult following of style conscious gentlemen. For their fall campaign, they have enlisted the help of Justin Chung and Lawrance Schlossman lens and style the shoot. When asked about the choice, Shimon had the following to say about the two, “there’s really only a handful of people we know in the industry that ‘get it,’ and we had instant connections with both Justin and Lawrence. They understood what we wanted, and that trust element was ever-present. The result was a marriage of both loving, and understanding eachother’s work. As far as location, shooting it in Brooklyn was natural, because we grew up there. Nothing was planned out, everything was real, and authentic.”
